What is MG2?
MG2 (also known as RSVP) is a classic, v12-based MapleStory server re-launched by Diamondo25. For more details, check out the in-game guide.
Server Location
- Current Region: Europe (EU)
- Coming Soon: US & Asia channels (planned with player increase)
Is the Server Still in Alpha/Beta?
The server is fully released – there will be no character wipes. Progress is protected with hourly remote backups.
How to Start Playing
- Register an account at https://maplechain.fans/register.php.
- Download the game at https://maplechain.fans/download.php.
- Run MapleStoryLauncher.bat after installation to launch the game.
Server Rates
All rates are 1x, classic MapleStory style. If any drops seem higher, that’s just RNG.
House Rules
- No Account Sharing (temporary ban if caught).
- No Hacking (permanent ban if caught).
- Report any suspected rule violations to staff.
Fourth Job Availability
No – fourth job will not be added.
Server Reset Time
Daily reset is at 12:00 AM (CET/CEST).
MapleChain’s Future Vision
- Staggered Content Releases: Avoid content burnout and maintain a steady flow of updates.
- Goal-Based Gameplay: Boss progression unlocks new areas.
Phased Map Releases
- Phase 1: Maple Island & Victoria Island (Released on Feb 19, 2025)
- Phase 2: Orbis Release (Triggered by first Jr. Balrog kill; area release within 24–72 hours)
- Phase 3: Ludibrium (Date TBD)
- Phase 4: Aqua Road (Date TBD)
Hidden Maps
Multiple hidden maps (e.g., The Forest of Golem, Excavation Site <Camp>, Dungeon: Drake Area) will unlock later to ensure game balance.
Community-Driven Changes
- Additional US and Asia channels will launch based on player counts.
- Potential in-game OpenAI “hidden-street” integration (details TBA).
